Lookout Portuguese Water Dogs is home to Suzanne & Jan Malick and our PWDs. We got our first PWD in 1989 and most of our dogs today are descended from her. We enjoy keeping the dogs entertained in water work, obedience, agility and conformation. Most importantly, our dogs are our treasured companions and we are grateful for the joy they bring us and the friends we have met through them.Suzanne is a member of the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America and the Pacific Northwest Portuguese Water Dog Club and is a PWDCA water trial judge. Suzanne was formerly part-owner in a dog training, grooming, dog-wash business, but now has a 9 to 5 desk job to support the PWDs. Jan is an avid golfer, runs agility with the PWDs, and is a staunch supporter of all the household dog activities.

Decker is a black and white curly, 21 inches tall and 57 pounds. He is a rugged, sound, athletic dog with a bold and engaging temperament. Great with all people and with other dogs, this guy is easy-going around the house but a wild man when he is working in the water or at agility.

This petite girl goes from pillow princess to performance powerhouse in the blink of an eye! Chili is one HOT tamale and lives up to her spicy name! She is a fantastic water dog, and she's no slouch in agility and obedience either. Chili is 17-1/2" tall and weighs 40 pounds and shares the house with her daughter Stoker and grand-daughter Ecko.

Stoker is Chili's daughter. She is a great-granddaughter to our very first PWD, Tango. She's earned the nickname "glamour girl" from some of our friends due to her "silver fox" markings and flowing lion trim. She is quite the character and while very choosy about her friends she is extremely sweet with her favorite people.

We always said we didn't like a lot of white on our PWDs and Ecko is a cosmic joke on us as we felt the puppy under the white fluff was such a nice girl that we just couldn't pass her up. Despite her "cute" looks, this girl is a force to be reckoned with. She's smart and feisty and thinks the world is her oyster!

We're excited to announce the breeding of:
Am/Can/Intl Ch Stargazer's Hit the Deck CD RE AX AXJ CWDX SROM (Decker) with Del Sur Cascade Mount Shasta (Shasta). Puppies were born on June 5.
Shasta is a sweet, black wavy girl with nice bone and lovely breed type. She has had one litter previously and this match with Decker has a very promising pedigree.
